AICD and COVID-19: Information for members, clients, faculty and stakeholders

In light of the current COVID-19 restrictions, we are pausing face-to-face activities in certain locations. This page contains information about the steps we will take as we continue to prioritise the health and safety of our staff, members, clients, faculty and all other stakeholders.

Face-to-face courses

If you were scheduled to attend a face-to-face course at the  during a lockdown period, an AICD Membership Engagement Partner will contact you to discuss alternate arrangements.

Please see our course calendar for further details of courses that are proceeding.

Business Centre Member Lounges (Lounges)

Our Lounges remain open in all locations, except Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra with limited capacity providing a COVIDSafe environment for our members, guests and staff.

Masks are required to be worn in our Adelaide and Brisbane Lounges.

If you have cold or flu like symptoms, we ask that you please do not attend AICD premises.

Please note capacity numbers are subject to change in line with social distancing requirements.

Access to Lounges cannot be reserved at this time. To avoid disappointment, please phone your local state office on the day of your intended visit and our staff will advise you of Lounge capacity.

Room bookings within our Lounges may be available upon request. Please direct your enquiries to the relevant state office.

The health and safety of our members, guests, stakeholders and guests is our priority. All Lounge attendees will be required to complete a digital sign-in to confirm they meet our COVIDSafe requirements and support effective contact tracing if required.

Safety measures

For those attending face-to-face courses, strict protocols and safety measures will be in place, including:

  • Sanitation stations will be set up across our offices and venue spaces for easy access;
  • Social distancing and health protocols will be implemented; and
  • The AICD’s staff will continue to work from home if they can, minimising the number of people at the AICD’s premises.
