While Australia continues to make great progress in responding to the COVID-19 crisis, the AICD intends to maintain a cautious approach and prioritise the health and safety of our staff, members, faculty and visitors. Our services will resume only when we are confident we can meet all the requirements of a COVIDSafe environment.
AICD and COVID-19: Information for members, clients, faculty and stakeholders
In light of the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, we are taking a cautious approach to resuming face-to-face activities. This page contains information about the steps we will take as we continue to prioritise the health and safety of our staff, members, clients, faculty and all other stakeholders.
Resumption of face-to-face courses
Face-to-face courses have now resumed in all states. Please see our course calendar for further details.
Business Centre Member Lounges (Lounges)
Our Lounges remain open in all locations with limited capacity, providing a COVIDSafe environment for our members, guests and staff.
Face masks are required to be worn in our Brisbane Lounge in line with Queensland Government public health orders.
Our Sydney Lounge remains open, subject to further government advice and public health orders. We recommend wearing face masks when visiting the Sydney Lounge and masks will be available on request. In the interests of the health and well-being of our members, staff, faculty and communities, please do not visit the AICD's NSW premises if you have been asked to self- isolate, have visited one of the identified venues by NSW Health, or are from a COVID hotspot. This includes if you are awaiting the results of a COVID test. If you have cold or flu like symptoms, we also ask that you please do not attend AICD premises.

All Lounge attendees will be required to complete a digital sign-in to confirm they meet our COVIDSafe requirements and support effective contact tracing if required.
Safety measures
For those attending face-to-face courses, strict protocols and safety measures will be in place, including:
- Sanitation stations will be set up across our offices and venue spaces for easy access;
- Social distancing and health protocols will be implemented; and
- The AICD’s staff will continue to work from home if they can, minimising the number of people at the AICD’s premises.
