Join us in Launceston for a Directors’ Briefing with Dr John Harte FAICD, experienced director, chair and AICD facilitator, who will speak on the issues and best practice for effective boards in 2019.

An effective board brings role clarity and a culture of constructive challenge. The directors are informed, committed and diligent who work together for the benefit of their organisation. Board effectiveness is driven by the people sitting around the board table, effective board processes, and relationships between the board, management and stakeholders. These elements are critical in driving the ultimate success or failure of all organisations.

At this special briefing, John will discuss best practice for effective boards. He will address:

  • Drivers of board and individual director effectiveness in the Tasmanian environment
  • Practical insights on what enables boards to grow from basic compliance to high performance;
  • Practical ways to deal with the challenges of directorship; and
  • Emerging issues and practices of effective boards.

Take this opportunity to learn from John Harte and to network with your peers in the Launceston director community.
