How much are directors paid?

Remuneration data for directors is now available exclusively to members following research conducted by the AICD earlier this year.

The 2016 AICD Remuneration Survey received 1,627 responses from non-executive directors, chairs and members of audit, risk, nomination and health and safety committees from across not-for-profit organisations, private enterprise and listed companies.

The data gathered will allow AICD members to benchmark their remuneration and compare it to the average fees by sector, industry, role type or organisation size.

Members who completed the survey will receive a complimentary high-level report of the survey findings, while all AICD members are eligible to request up to two complimentary extracts of the data.

Maximise your development

Today’s business environment is constantly evolving, which means that keeping your directorship knowledge up to date is essential. Accruing Director Professional Development (DPD) units is one of the many ways that you can maintain your currency and strengthen your capability as a director.

Members, graduates and fellows of the AICD are required to accrue 60 DPD units over each three year cycle of their membership. DPD units can be accrued through participation in courses, events, self-directed activities – including reading Company Director – and activities sourced from external providers.

Ensure your DPD is on track
