Frank Cooper FAICD

Non-Executive Director, Woodside Petroleum Limited

Frank Cooper is a Non Executive Director of Woodside Petroleum Limited and South32 Limited and chairs the Audit and Risk Committee at both. He is also a Commissioner and Chairman of the Insurance Commission of Western Australia.

During his executive career Frank specialised in Corporate tax across a variety of sectors, but with a particular focus on Resources. Having been partner at a number of Big Four firms, Frank was most recently head of the Tax division of the PwC Perth office, until his retirement in 2012.

Frank has extensive involvement in the Not for Profit sector, and is currently a Trustee of St John of God Healthcare, and a member of the Senate of the University of Western Australia, where he Chairs the Strategic Resources Committee. Frank is also an invitee to the board of the Perth Internal Arts Festival Board.

Previous board roles include Chairman of the West Australian Football Commission, member of the Major Performing Arts Board (Australia Council), director of Fremantle Football Club, director of the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research, director of the Western Australia Opera Company and a member of the State Health Research Advisory Council. Frank has been a member of, and made valuable contribution to the AICD WA Division Council for the last three year.
