What’s on the mind for directors in 2020.

An effective board brings role clarity and a culture of constructive challenge.

Board effectiveness has its foundation in role clarity and is driven by the people sitting around the board table, effective board processes, and the relationships between the board management and stakeholders.

These elements are critical in driving the ultimate success or failure of all organisations.

At this special briefing, John Harte FAICD will discuss best practice for effective boards.

He will address:

  • Drivers of board and individual director effectiveness in the Tasmanian environment;
  • Practical insights on what enables boards to grow from basic compliance to high performance;
  • Practical ways to deal with the challenges of directorship; and
  • Emerging issues and practices of effective boards.
