Michael Whitty MAICD

Manager Member and Client Support Team, National, Australian Institute of Company Directors

Michael Whitty MAICD joined the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2006. He led the Victoria Division Member Relations team for 8 years, this team is responsible for providing member support and service to over 10,000 members. He was then Operations Manager for the Victoria Division before taking on the National role as Manager of the Member & Client Support team. He was heavily involved in the development of the Victoria Division’s Board Seeking Directors evenings, the set-up of Director Nexus confidential peer group forums and has advised numerous members on their career development. Michael has also presented at AICD’s Finding Board Positions workshop.

Michael’s previous career experience has supported his current client centric role having held roles as CEO of a time critical courier company and numerous senior management roles within the retail sector in Australia and the UK.
