The more a board member knows, the more invested he or she is. The more skin you have in the game, the more you will jump through hoops for the organization you all care so deeply about.

We often hear that board members don’t ask the right questions and this can mean the difference between successful decision-making and potentially disastrous outcomes. A CEO should welcome these questions. Strong personalities can dominate discussion, with some not having the confidence to ask the question or feeling it may appear ‘stupid’ – and there is no such thing as a ‘stupid’ question!

This War Stories lunch will address how the right questions can ensure a well-functioning board; improving the performance of the organisation and the culture of the board. Join Jane Yuile FAICD Chairman ANZ, and Dr Roger Sexton AM FAICD Chairman Beston Pacific and President of the SANT AICD Division, as they share with us their stellar careers and experience in obtaining board appointments, lessons learned along the way, the great achievements and the various pitfalls, at our June Tomorrow’s Director War Stories lunch.

We encourage you to register early for this lunch and places are limited.
