Steve is a 40+ year veteran of the tourism industry and founder of the international sustainable tourism project management company, Pacific Asia Tourism. In this role he remains involved in projects funded by multilateral development agencies such as the World Bank, International Finance Corporation, Asia Development Bank, International Labour Organisation, United Nations Environment Program and UN World Tourism Organisation, as well as bilateral agencies such as Australian AID, UK AID and NZ AID.
Steve is Director of the wildlife tourism enterprise, Ecolodges Indonesia which owns/operates for ecolodges in Sumatra, Kalimantan and Flores. He has been an Adjunct/Visiting Professor at Universities in Australia, Norway and Finland and continues as an Adjunct Industry Fellow at Griffith University and teaching the Sustainable Tourism and Indigenous Cultures program at Bond University here on the Gold Coast.
