Susy Daw GAICD

Risk Management Consultant

Susy Daw is a risk management consultant and business mentor with her own business, MQM Business Consultants. She has twenty years’ experience in risk and strategic consulting for the public and private sectors.

Susy has consulted in health, aged care, major events, sport and recreation, finance and banking, government and local government, environmental portfolios, education, tertiary education, transport, the building industry and the not-for-profit sector.

For over ten years, Susy has been a facilitator for the Australian Institute of Company Directors teaching the Foundations of Directorship program and the Company Directors Course (risk, strategy and advanced risk management modules). She has also facilitated its debates and panel discussions.

Susy has experience in conducting board evaluations and mentoring senior executives.

Her current board appointments include:

  • SA Health Risk (external member and audit committee)
  • St. Andrews Hospital (chair and credentials committee)
  • ECH Inc. (chair and risk and audit committee)
  • The University of Adelaide (chair of the risk management reference committee)

Rosey Batt FAICD


Rosey is CEO of a private, professional organization providing legal and business services. Her primary areas of practice are in business transactions, resolving disputes and Intellectual Property. Her client base is mainly composed of privately owned, high-growth companies. Before starting her own business, Rosey spent a number of years as a partner with Minter Ellison.

Rosey has had extensive board experience and currently sits on a number of private and public sector boards, including the Improvement Foundation Ltd, Seymour College (chair), and the Law Society SA Litigation Fund.

Her broad knowledge in Corporate Governance issues arises from this experience, having chaired Governance committees and held the position of company secretary of a public company.

Rosey holds a Masters in Science and Technology Commercialisation from The University of Texas at Austin and the University of Adelaide.
