Spectacular Indigenous artworks and a 300-million-year-old canvas illuminated

In partnership with Major Events and Tourism NT we are extremely proud to host an evening at 2nd annual Parrtjima – A Festival in Light with AICD Chairman, Elizabeth Proust AO FAICD.

Parrtjima (pronounced Par-CHee-ma) comes from the Arrernte group of languages - the name suggests shedding both light and understanding on a subject.

Parrtjima - A Festival in Light is the world’s first authentic Indigenous festival of its kind, featuring Australia’s biggest light show installation, stretching over 2 kilometres of the iconic MacDonnell Ranges. Showcasing contemporary and traditional Indigenous art, culture and stories, Parrtjima is a breathtaking display.

The festival is one of many listings in the NT’s annual calendar of spectacular events which provide a potentially inspiring focus for a conference, incentive, product launch or just a perfect reason to ‘Do the NT’.

*Please enter from the car park, through the main entrance, follow signage and staff instructions.
