Geoff Brunsdon FAICD

Chairman, Sims Metal Management Ltd

Geoff Brunsdon is a professional company director and is currently Chairman of Sims Metal Management Ltd, MetLife Insurance Ltd, IPE Ltd and APN Funds Management Limited. He is a Director of The Wentworth Group of Concerned Scientists and Purves Environmental Custodians.

Geoff was previously Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking of Merrill Lynch International (Australia) Limited until 2009. Geoff was a member of the listing committee of the Australian Stock Exchange between 1993 and 1997, a member of the Takeovers Panel between 2007 and 2016 and Chairman of Redkite (supporting families who have children with cancer) until 2015 and is now a Patron. He is a Fellow of FINSIA, a Fellow of the Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Adam Simms

Principal, Forensic Servicers, BDO

Adam has more than 25 years of investigation and financial crime risk management experience, which includes practising law and working within law enforcement, government agencies (State and Commonwealth), private consulting and financial institutions (banking and insurance). Adam’s substantial experience in fraud control and operational risk has allowed him to provide solutions of varying complexity to both private and public sector clients.

As an Associate Director of Forensic Services at BDO, Adam assists clients by providing investigation, risk management and advisory services. He specialises in matters related to financial crimes and other misconduct including corruption, fraud, money laundering, terrorism financing, misappropriation of assets, and cyber-crime.

Justin Clark

Director, Sefiani Communications

Justin leads Sefiani’s Financial Communications & Government Relations practice, and is a specialist in major financial transaction communications, M&As and IPOs, privatisations, infrastructure and community engagements projects.

He also manages multi-stakeholder and government engagement projects, internal stakeholder engagement, and C-suite / Board-level communications and reputation management.

Justin has held leadership positions in both agency and client-side, including as Managing Director of FTI Consulting Australia, and has 20 years’ experience advising Australian and international businesses across Asia, Europe and the US. He has been responsible for developing and leading successful teams and projects that have built, transformed and safeguarded reputations of Australian and global businesses.
