Robin Low GAICD

Non-Executive Director, Appen & IPH

Robin is an independent director with a portfolio of board appointments. She was previously with PricewaterhouseCoopers for over 28 years. As a partner Robin, specialised in the financial services sector and in audit, risk and assurance.

Robin’s listed company board roles are with AUB Group Limited, CSG Limited, IPH Limited (IPO 2014) and Appen Limited (IPO 2015). She chairs the audit and/or audit and risk committees for these companies. She is also a remuneration committee member.

Robin’s government appointments are to the Audit and Assurance Standards Board where she is deputy chairman, and to the Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation.

Her not-for-profit appointments are to the Sydney Medical School Foundation, Primary Ethics and the Public Education Foundation.

Robin participated in the AICD Chairman’s mentoring program in 2013/14.

Rob Dando

Director, Corporate Finance, Pitcher Partners

Rob joined Pitcher Partners as a Director in 2017 and has over 15 years’ consultancy experience across the Australasian, European and U.S. markets from his previous experience with Crowe Horwath, Ernst and Young and PwC. He embodies a relationship focus and works hard to understand our clients’ needs and provide trusted commercial advice.

Rob specialises in advising corporate clients and financial sponsors in respect of their assessment of potential acquisitions and/or divestments, as well as assisting with the path to public market listing/IPO and refinancing. Deal sizes range from $1 million to $1 billion.

Rob focusses on mergers and acquisitions and providing financial due diligence services as well as performing the role of investigating accountant for public market transactions. Effective, efficient, robust financial due diligence is key to a successful transaction.

George Savvides FAICD

Former Managing Director, Medibank Private

George has 25 years of experience in the Australian & NZ health care sector. He was CEO of two successful IPO listings on the ASX, Sigma in 1999 and Medibank Private in 2014. He served as Medibank CEO for 14 years. The Medibank float at the time the second largest in Australia’s history.

George has an honours degree in Engineering from UNSW and an MBA from UTS and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is the Chairman of World Vision Australia, a Non-Exec Director of NZX listed Ryman Healthcare, Chairman Kings Group Ltd, Chairman Macquarie University Hospital, SBS Deputy Chairman and Partner of Sodia.
