Join us in Hong Kong for a Directors’ Briefing with Dr John Harte FAICD, experienced director and AICD international facilitator, who will speak on best practice for effective international boards.

An effective board involves informed, committed and diligent directors who work together for the benefit of their organisation. Board composition, effective board meetings, relationships between the board, management and stakeholders, and corporate governance are key elements of effective board performance for directors. These elements are critical in driving the ultimate success or failure of all organisations.

At this special briefing, John will discuss best practice around the globe for effective international boards. He will address:

  • Drivers of board and individual director effectiveness in an international environment;
  • Practical insights on what enables boards to grow from basic compliance to high performance;
  • Practical ways to deal with the challenges of international directorship; and
  • Emerging issues and practices of effective international boards.

Take this opportunity to learn from John Harte and to network with your peers in the Hong Kong director community.

Light refreshments and tea and coffee will be served.
