How do I access a webinar?

You can access the webinar from any location with a computer or laptop that has Internet access. Go to aicd.companydirectors.com.au through a web browser and log into My Site using your login credentials. The webinars you have registered for will be located within the 'My webinars tab'. You will need headphones or a device with speakers, so you can hear the audio from the webinar broadcast.

Do you offer corporate discounts / group bookings for webinars?

Yes, we offer corporate discounts and group bookings. Please contact your AICD Member and Directors Executive, for further information. Details on how to contact us can be found at: aicd.companydirectors.com.au/contact.

I can no longer attend the webinar on the scheduled date, what are my options?

If you miss the live session, we will automatically send you an email with a link to view the recording. The recording is sent approximately 48 hours after the live session. You can view the recording at a time that best suits you up until the expiry date. Please see the AICD Webinar Terms and Conditions for more options.

When do I receive details to access a webinar?

If you have registered for the live session, you will receive your access details upon registration. If you have registered for the recording, you will receive your details within 48 hours after the live session has been presented. The email is sent from ‘AICD webinars’ (webinars@cahootlearning.com) not AICD, and if you don’t receive any details please check your junk folder prior to contacting Cahoot Learning on +61 3 8080 9966 or 1300 273 548.

In addition, you can access the webinars you have registered for via My Site and the My webinars section. When the webinar has a status of Live or Recorded you can click on it to access the session.

What do I do if I experience technical problems?

We recommend that you test your system in advance of the webinar. You may be required to download software. Please consult your IT department if you are accessing the webinar from your workplace. If you experience technical problems during the webinar, please contact Cahoot Learning on +61 3 8080 9966 or 1300 273 548.

I registered for the recording, why haven't I received anything?

Participants registered for the recording will receive an email containing a link to the recording and materials within 48 hours after the live session. If it has been more than 48 hours since the live session, please check your junk folder prior to contacting Cahoot Learning on +61 3 8080 9966 or 1300 273 548.

In addition to the email, participants can also access the recording via My Site and the My webinars section. When the webinar has a status of Recorded you can click on it to access your recording.

I registered for the live webinar, do I automatically get a copy of the recording?

Yes. All participants who registered for the live session will receive the recording.

Can I access the webinar on my iPad?

You can access the webinar from your iPad or tablet. However, some webinar features are not available on tablet and iPad such as responding to polls or annotation marking on the screen. To access the webinar on an iPad, you will need to download the Webex Meeting app and follow the instructions in the webinar access email.

I'm trying to watch the webinar, where can I find this on your website?

You must be registered to watch a webinar. You can access the webinar via the unique link emailed to you upon registration. If you would like the email re-sent to you, please email our webinars team on awebinars@aicd.com.au.

Alternatively, you will be able to access your webinar when you log into My Site under the section My webinars. When the webinar has a status of Live or Recorded you can click on it to access the session.

Can I transfer my registration to another webinar?

Transfers are permitted in line with the Webinar Terms and Conditions. They can occur up to 1 day before a live webinar session is scheduled to start. Alternatively, if you have registered for the recording you are able to transfer if the following conditions are met. You have made the purchase within the last 30 days and you have watched 0% of the session.

I have completed the webinar, when will my DPD records be updated?

Records for both live webinars and recordings will be updated on your profile within 1 week of completion.

Why is my webinar no longer available on My site?

When a webinar you have registered for is no longer available on My site, it means one of the following:

  • You have completed watching the webinar
  • You have cancelled your webinar registration
  • The webinar is no longer available for viewing (it has expired)
  • AICD has cancelled the webinar due to unforeseen circumstances

Why does the link to my webinar no longer work?

The link to your webinar will no longer work when the webinar has expired or been cancelled, or you have exceeded the number of times to complete watching it.
