The course is tailored to experienced directors and aspiring directors whose organisations are preparing for an acquisition or contemplating a merger.

Participants must be graduates of the Company Directors Course or International Company Directors Course. It is preferable but not mandatory for participants to have successfully completed the assessment of the Company Directors Course.

Course expectations

What can you expect?

The course focuses on achieving the optimum learning environment through the majority of the day being experienced through an in-depth and engaging case study.

This course is a full day course. Participants will be allocated to a board group before the course and will spend the majority of the day working with their board on the activities of a fictional company contemplating an acquisition and the merger beyond this deal.

A facilitator will lead the discussion at the start and end of the day, as well as provide expert guidance and support throughout the day.

Participants are expected to have pre-read the course materials and case study prior to attending the course.
