The AICD is seeking amendments to the classification of certain occupations announced in the changes to the Temporary Work (Skilled) (subclass 457) visa (457 visa) program.
AICD members have raised significant concerns with the 457 changes already commenced, in particular relating to CEO, CIO and senior executive positions.
In our submission, the AICD recommends the Government make several changes to their position on this issue and undertakes consultation with directors and boards on the impact of changes to visa streams, lists and thresholds.
