AICD joins World Economic Forum
The Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) has joined the World Economic Forum (WEF) as its latest Australian member.
Founded in 1971, the WEF is considered one of the world’s premier organisations for public-private cooperation. Its aim is to improve the state of the world by engaging the foremost political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.
Our membership of the WEF will enable us to bring the latest economic research, policy and insights to members. Members will also have the opportunity to engage directly with senior executives from the WEF in exclusive events and briefings.
Our involvement in the WEF will bring a uniquely Australian focus to WEF activities that is currently missing and gives the AICD a more global focus and international sphere of influence.
AICD’s Chairman Elizabeth Proust recently attended the WEF meeting in Davos and we look forward to sharing insights from that event with members shortly.
